An illustrated walk-through of the operator interface — from logging in to running reports.
Open SyncTide in your browser at the address your administrator provided (for example http://<server>.local). Sign in with your username and password. Your role (Viewer, Operator or Administrator) controls which pages and actions you can use.
The Dashboard is your live overview. Key Indicators show your site KPIs with a target and trend; Active Alarms lists anything currently raised; the Equipment (asset tree) lists every device — click an asset to chart its trend, and use the timeframe selector (1H…1Y) on that widget to change the trend window. Widgets such as Ranking, Heatmap, Fleet Health and the Escalation Feed are arranged to taste under Configuration → Home Layout.
Explorer builds a custom chart from any tags across any devices. Tick the variables on the left, pick a time range and an aggregation bucket (1 min … 1 year — or Auto), and drag on the chart to zoom into a region. The data table below is exportable to CSV. Values show two decimals when they have them, and a single-device view renders in that device's local timezone.
The Alarms page lists active alarms by severity. Acknowledge an alarm to stop its escalation; use Ack all to clear the queue. The History tab shows when each event was raised, acknowledged (and by whom) and cleared. Timestamps follow the device's local timezone.
The Messaging Center shows how alarm notifications are dispatched across channels (Telegram, email, SMS/WhatsApp) and the delivery log. Recipients and escalation rules are configured by your administrator.
Templated report fills an Excel/PDF template with per-tag metrics (Average, Min, Max, Last, Difference) over a chosen aggregation bucket, with a Server/Device time basis. Raw export produces a CSV/TXT of stored measurements where you choose the columns and their order — Timestamp · Category · Variable · Unit · Value. Templates lets you upload and manage report templates, and History lists everything generated. Any report can be scheduled to run and email itself automatically.
Add and configure devices here. Add equipment collects the protocol (CSV, Modbus TCP, OPC UA, IEC 60870-5-104), connection details and timezone — CSV folder paths are picked with a folder browser, never typed. The Communication tab holds the live tag values and advanced parameters; Tag Mapping links equipment tags to system variables; Monitoring sets alarm rules and the communication-timeout check. A device (and all its data) can be deleted from here.
Administrators manage the platform here: Tags (system variables, including virtual/computed tags), Groups and Alarm Categories, device Relationships (for the site flow diagram), Home Layout (enable, place and reorder dashboard widgets), and Runtime — which includes Ports & firewall, Retention, MQTT, Health and Security (the idle auto-logout timeout).
