An annual subscription that includes updates and support, or a perpetual license you own outright with optional maintenance. Same software, same tiers — different commitment.
The lowest upfront cost. Support, updates and new features included as long as the subscription is active.
One-time fee. Runs indefinitely on your hardware, regardless of maintenance status. Add annual maintenance to keep receiving updates.
A tag is an imported variable — temperature, pressure, flow, alarm state. Pick the tier that covers your site today; upgrade later as you add equipment.

Every plan includes the Visualisation & Alarms base module. Messaging and Reports are optional add-ons (see below). Contact us for pricing tailored to your site.
Base licenses cover dashboards, alarms and equipment configuration. Add these modules à la carte on top of any tier.
Dispatch alarm notifications via SMS, WhatsApp, Telegram and email with cascading escalation and ack-driven cancellation.
Template-driven PDF and Excel generation with scheduled jobs, customer-specific branding and CSV export.
Data ingestion and messaging stop — no new measurements are imported, no new alarms are sent. The UI stays readable so you can review historical data and renew. A few clicks after payment and everything resumes.
Nothing — the software keeps running exactly as it did. You just stop receiving updates and technical support. Resume maintenance at any time to unlock new versions.
Perpetual has a higher upfront cost but lower lifetime spend if you stay on the same version. Subscription is lower upfront and guarantees you're always on the latest release. We can model both paths for your tier — ask us.
Yes. Most common path is subscription → perpetual once your deployment is stable. We credit prorated subscription toward the perpetual fee. Talk to us.
Yes — we issue 30-day evaluation keys on request. Contact us, describe your site, and we'll send a signed license.lic with installation notes.
That's the default. SyncTide runs entirely on your infrastructure with no outbound connections required. Signed update packages work offline via USB / LAN.
Both. The Windows installer is the easy path — one signed .exe bundles PostgreSQL 17, TimescaleDB and nine managed services. The Linux Docker stack ships from the same source tree, with a multi-stage Dockerfile, a production override, off-host backup hooks, and a runbook in OPERATIONS.md. Licences are platform-neutral.
